LARGAS, the Dutch acronym for Driving slowly is faster, has been applied for the first time in Hilversum, an evaluation of which has just been published.

  • Essentially Largas encompasses a system of traffic engineering measures aimed at making speeds of motor vehicles more uniform. Fietsersbond considers the results of LARGAS from a cyclist’s point of view, among others with an example of roundabouts with priority for cyclists.
