I second Lennart Nout. This is worrying. I hope some good data come out of the experiment -- but how many head injuries from cycling are there at the moment among this age group? Here in the UK we want to stop authorities harping on about helmets as all it does is discourage cycling -- and the benefits of helmet wearing are unproven at best (and perhaps harmful at worst).
